
Smart Traffic Lighting System
Aim:- Road congestion is an issue & a smarter way to manage it is by implementing an unmanned automation process. In this project, we have built one such system to handle traffic in a smart way using IR sensors.
Parts Used:- Arduino Uno Board, Digital IR Sensors, Bread Board, 9V Battery Connectors, Resistors , Wire Stripper and Screwdrivers, Color LEDs.
Working:- It regulates the city traffic using different sensors and traffic lights according to different traffic scenarios. Like this system doesn’t allot green light to a side which doesn’t have any vehicle in its lane.
Principle:- It works on Arduino technology and sensors to sense the arrival and departure of the vehicles.
Future Aspects:- We will learn Arduino architecture, Arduino programming, calibration of sensors which will help us a lot in developing new robotic technologies.
